Once again, I have waited way too long to do this. Technical difficulties always get worse the longer I wait to update the blog so that also prevented me. So here goes Three months worth of stuff in our lives! Since it’s so much there is significantly less journaling in this and it’s all out of order. (I tried but I can also guarantee I'm leaving something out and some of the photos didn't come over.)
Visit from Nona and Pa
It was so fun to see them, and they stayed in such a cool little RV park that I want to go live someday! Cooper was so cute interacting with him and it was very clear that he loves him so much
They got him new toys, and one of them was a baby doll. He would say baby over and over again while looking for it, and then he found it and he picked it up and kissed it on the head and said “shh shh good baby” lol so cute
This was the first time that dallins Grama met Cooper

I will spend a ton of time on lessons and be super excited about them, and then the sites are blocked for students because they block everything. So that's frustrating
We didn’t assignment that said the students favorite restaurants and I thought it was so funny that one of the students favorite restaurants was Sadie and Josie‘s
It was cool on my drive it looked like the pond was steaming because it’s cold
Coop is a good companion to travel with to and from school every day. We have fun in the car
It's stressful and I feel like I'm putting out fires constantly and grading and planning constantly but I just had my formal evaluation and it went really well so I'm very relieved by that. It is my dream, that one day, students will just READ THE DIRECTIONS 😂 😆 that would seriously be LIFE CHANGING.
Van Gogh Exhibit
We went to see the van Gogh exhibit in Scottsdale and it was really fun!
We went to dinner with Nick and Gianna before and it was fun catching up with them

They put his paintings in motion on all the walls ceiling and floor it was incredible! We took tons of videos but it was hard bringing it over from the cloud or whatever
It was also in the same building where Clearlink used to be so it was cool to see the transformation

This was how I told dallin
We did the sneak peek test and then they took like 3 weeks to get back to us when it’s supposed to take 3 days. So I had given up on finding out and dallins email was the results email address. So when he did finally get the result he was able to really surprise me. We were both so overjoyed it was a girl. It was like I couldn’t even process it. I just kept saying are you sure is this a joke haha
And I’m huge now. Had to start wearing maternity pants at like 11 weeks
It has by far been 10 times harder symptom wise. I don’t have the petrifying fear anymore but every day it’s so hard to even get through the day. It’s soooo bad we have been in survival mode for three months.
We were happy that it’s working out so far because the other secret to reveal is we had one and lost it back in may. So this time we definitely didn’t celebrate as early just in case. And so far everything is healthy so we’re grateful.
The Dogs
Aren’t they cute? I don’t think that when they won’t stop barking haha but we found a dog today and their owner came to get her and took Jake on a walk and so Jake met a new friend named Bella 😀

Dallins work took over his life Oct to Dec so that made being sick even worse. And it’s still up in the air about what’s happening with the company. But we survived the busy season so that’s good

Cooper just ran around the whole time he had no interest in a movie. But it was fun to see the neighbors and eat at a food truck
Bedtime
He gave up milk and bottles cold turkey so now he’s all about the song. He will instantly calm down and start falling asleep if you sing to him. He still does really well at napping so that's nice. This was him eating lunch before his nap and falling asleep while eating lol
He was trying to climb out of the crib one day and Dallin saw it in the camera. He used the microphone to talk to him in the camera and said cooper no! (We never use the microphone thing so it really scared cooper. Lol he immediately flung himself off the rail and face first down onto the mattress and held perfectly still. He held so still for so long that he fell asleep that way. Hahaha he saw no one was in there but heard the voice so he must have thought God himself was speaking to him or something because it scared him so much he has not tried climbing out ever since then. Which I am grateful for lol

We had a fire to celebrate jojo’s life on the day we lost her. I still miss her every day. She loved fires so we did it for her. But we tried to make it a happy thing not a sad thing. Coop loved it.

It's nice that Sadie will cuddle with me while I read now like Jo used to. That was what I missed most so I love it. It's easier to like her now that she's potty trained too. I love my socks from our vacation they're so comfortable.

We went to Bass Pro shop to take christmas pictures and santa isn't allowed to hold kids because of covid so that was a let down. Now we have a weird picture of santa lurking in the background lol

This was back before I felt horrible so we were still doing things

Jake is trying to help me feel better about myself by gaining just as much weight
He was always like 16 or 17 pounds and now he weighs 22 pounds! This was him trying to squeeze through the railing like Sadie does and getting stuck half way through. Lol it was sad but funny. I know the feeling Jake and I’m so sorry lol Sadie can fit through cuz she’s only 13 pounds and skin and bone. But still it’s crazy to think when we got her she was only 3 or 4 pounds.
I’m trying to get back into being social again but it’s not really happening all that often. At the end of the work day my back, feet, and head kill, and I feel nauseous and tired and have to go pick up coop who is a lot to handle so I usually collapse when I walk in the door. It’s bad from 1pm on and gets worse so by 4 I feel like I’m dying and it’s not uncommon for me to cry on the way home. I’ve just noticed lately my job is taking a lot out of me and I feel like I’m always working and since I have less energy, all of it is going to work. So the house is a wreck and I see my friends like once every 3 months I guess. So that’s my vent sesh but I’m hoping that it will go away soon or that it will go by fast. I’m also figuring out things I can do that will help and Dallin is a lifesaver. He even got me flowers last week and that was so sweet. Also I wanted a girl more than anything so if this is what I have to go through it’s well worth it! So this was the first time we’ve gotten back together in a while and it was good to hear about Gianna and Minnesota and Reanna and Michigan and Lexi and Nursing school.
Cooper has a stomach bug right now so the last few days he has been sooooo sick it's been so sad. I'm hoping he gets over it soon.
Hopefully next time I can blog more frequently. It's taken me 3 weekends just to do this one haha
