The Bridal Shower!

Pictures from the bridal shower on July 12. I was so touched by all the support and so thankful for all these wonderful people in my life. <3

That's not even nearly all the pictures we have because the Davises are the greatest photographers (and I chose really randomly)

So, I was a terrible mom and I forgot about Jake's birthday. It was july 27th so I just put his birthday shirt on and I'll have to get him a new bone tomorrow. (And maybe go to the dog park!)

He's officially 3 years old now!

 Bad news at the vet. Josie has a bacterial infection in both ears, a dislocated knee cap, and possible ligament damage in her knee. After a check up, x-rays, microscopic check of her bacteria, antibiotics, ear medicine, wash, and pain pills.... lotta mula lost. And she needs surgery that's about 1,500 bucks. We told ourselves from the beginning that a thousand is where we draw the line with dogs, but it's killing me because she has her whole life left to live and she'll be in pain until we fix her knee.
This is us at the vet. Neither of us were happy.
Idk what we'll do. Poor Josie-Girl.

 This is how much room I get in bed. They both come right up to my legs so I can't move. Sometimes it bugs me, but love is what's about. Dogs get it. I wouldn't have it any other way.

 This is what school's like during summer. It's empty and depressing.

Counter tops went in today and carpet is tomorrow! Almost completely done! So excited to finally move in! Next picture I put up here will be the finished product!

This is dallin at his final tux fitting at Jos A Banks.

I though it was pretty hilarious that he had to get his butt pinched by a dude...so of course I took a picture!

We had my bridal photo shoot with the photographer, and it was raining and crazy weather. I swear it was like 100 mile an hour winds out there. And I was hiking around all these rocks holding a 50 pound wedding dress...So this was me after. My hair was literally in dreads because the wind blew so hard. It was really cool to finally do my own bridals. I've modeled for bridals 4 times, and this was the first time that it actually meant anything and it was actually my dress. Kindof cool. The whole time I was preoccupied by the insane weather, I wish I would've soaked in the moment a little better. 

We did the shoot out at antelope island. A lot of people were saying it was ugly out there and they didn't get it, but unless you have the photographer's eye, you don't know how they'll turn out. They are amazing!!! I'm glad we did it out there

This is kim & george's house. I was just leaving there after hanging out with them and I thought how lucky I am to have such good friends. And I was loving the warm rain & feeling truly happy and at peace. So I took a pic 

The following are the pictures from the second shower that my mom did with her friends from the neighborhood. It was really chill, and I loved the girl-time and getting to know them better.

Girls get what they want! haha regardless of size! Josie managed to get this bone that is the size of her entire body away from Jake and Bentley. She was very happy. And the boys were sad about it but they just let her have it.

I made these cards to hand out at the wedding rehearsal so that no one gets lost and everyone has the address

This is Ryun, Rachael's son. We went to the clearlink (where dallin works) summer party and it was a blast. He likes to sag his pants, take off his shirt, and run around doing kung fu. So that was entertaining. And I tried waffle love for the first time and saw dallin's family

Dallin & the guys went to Vegas, so me and the girls went to park city for my bachelorett party. It was soooo much fun. I have such good friends and they definitely spoiled me. We went to brunch, then a spa and I got the royal treatment! Then we went to a boutique and they got me stuff for the honeymoon to wear, then we went up to park city and walked around the art festival and went to dinner. After that we went out on the town for a night of dancing & fun! We stayed the night at a hotel, got breakfast, and went home. The best time. So glad we did it.

I officially wrote my vows! After 3 hours of deleting and starting over and bawling my eyes out...here they are. 

Writing a 10 pager on bacterial STD's for school. fun, I know.

This is me before going in to our final meeting with the wedding planner. We both freaked out a little when we realized how close it was! (And then of course I forgot to get a picture with dallin)

Got these for the girls for teh rehearsal and rehearsal dinner! And I got my outfit for it!

My official wedding jewelry! My dad and shelly got me this necklace and it is so beautiful. I was really touched because it had to be expensive. Then I got matching stuff for it!

 I got my first cavity. I went to the dentist for a cleaning after like 4 years, and realized that I hate going to the dentist! It was awful! Today I just went to get that stupid thing filled and I hated it. But I got to watch the Mask lol

(Sorry to all the people in my family in the dental industry. I still hate it.)  

 I'm about to take poor Josie-Girl to the doctor :( She has been limping for weeks and I'm worried there's something wrong with her back leg. She hates going to the vet but she always tries to be brave. lol she shakes a lot

Gotta go! I got the pics from the first bridal shower yesterday so I will get those up tomorrow!

Adventures!

20 days. 3 weeks from today! Holy crap.

This is the cool hair do I figured out how to do when I am sick of my hair and I want to be bald for a day. The french braid wraps all the way around your head. I love it!

 On wednesday I was super sick and throwing up so that sucked. But I got to watch Boy Meets World with the kids :)

 We went boating yesterday with Dallin's family and it was so cute seeing Aaron, Declan, Kensley and Austin's first time on a boat. We went to Utah lake and this time dallin was an old pro at wake boarding. I got such a weird tan line from wearing those sunglasses all day...

 I finally took dal to twigs in farmington! this was teh place we went during miss utah week and I had 5 desserts. I couldn't wait to take him back to experience how amazing it is. Station park is pretty fun so we walked around a little and saw the water show thing. The fountains go with lights and music.

 This is me cramming the night before the praxis. Luckily, I passed! woo hoo! I got a 177 and I needed at least a 162. next to that is all the finished ribbon wands that I made with teh bridesmaids.Shelly finished both the kids quilts and they're so cute. And I loved my nails and ring and shoes after going to the gym that day so I took a picture lol

 We got our unity candle set- its perfect. The kitchen is coming right along now! These are my garters and the pictures we got to put up at the reception for the tables! I love our photographer he does excellent work.

 Shayle, mickie, and kim and I are all working on the programs because we got those as well. Here is the finished look. Lower left pic is missing rachael she helped us glue ribbon wands but left before we took the picture.

 This is Josie with her quilt, and the upper left is dallin getting a paper out of a for sale sign on a house. We both want a house so bad that we look up houses all the time and stop when we see one for sale. That night we drove around riverton for like an hour looking at houses. It won't be for a while but I just think he's so cute that  he's that excited that he wants to stop haha

I should be writing my paper, so I'll stop now. We're having another shower on tuesday, monday I have my bridal shoot, and tonight we're going to get dallin's tux altered. Wedding stuff tends to take over my life right now hahaha we both still need to write our vows!

We have gotten really really into the show Prison Break recently! It's so good!
